We have an immediate opening for a full-time ministry assistant.
Required skills include being comfortable with daily computer and app use; ability to quickly learn new tasks using modern technologies; proficiency in Office 365 or ability to learn quickly; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or ability to learn quickly; ability to assist guests in person and on the phone with kindness and grace.
Design, editing, project management and proofreading skills are a plus.
Tasks include daily updates in Realm, answering the Church Office phone and front door, greeting guests, weekly bulletin preparation, church database updates and much more.

Answer Church Office phone line: route calls to appropriate staff member, respond to inquiries about church events, etc.
Answer the front door (via video monitor): interact with guests and assist in connecting those in need to our Benevolence Ministry.
Prepare, print and distribute the weekly Sunday bulletin (using Adobe InDesign). Work closely with Director of Communications on content.
Daily update Family News on Realm and the News Line as information on our family members becomes available; print weekly for Sunday distribution.
Assist with various tasks, as needed.
Notarize Consent to Participate forms prior to all youth activities, as needed. May require certification as a Notary Public.
Assist with organizing senior adults’ activities.
Purchase all general office supplies for the Church Office and other areas.
Purchase general items for various ministries, make hotel reservations, etc., when needed.
Email Daily Update of Family News to elders, ministers and support staff.
Provide weekly update to Family News list, as well as weekly attendance figures.
Realm (Church Database)
Update changes in member information, such as member status, address, phone numbers, email addresses, employer info, new family members, etc. Upload member pictures.
Other tasks, as needed.
