The world is messy and beautiful at the same time. People are struggling to find hope in a world that seems impossibly broken. The air we breathe is filled with confusion, anxiety, and fragmentation. As a result, much of humanity is weary, longing for love, and is in desperate need of hope. We cannot fix it, but we are faced with an abundance of opportunities to answer an ancient call:
- Will we, ordinary people, live into our identity as the church?
- Will we become the visible body of Christ in our everyday lives?
- Will we follow God into a bold new future?
- Will we join in what God’s Spirit is doing in the world?
We must be people committed to the mission of God and each other, and we must decide to engage and encounter the world as it is. Maybe we just need to be nudged to engage and encounter the world around us.
Encounter Cards are designed to help anyone be more aware of God’s mission in the world and our role in it.
Encounter Cards represent an in-person missional strategy adventure carefully created to bless you, your loved ones, friends, neighbors, and strangers. They are carefully designed to encourage us all to walk in love and cultivate profound curiosity and consideration for others. If you are longing to reconnect and connect with others, Encounter Cards can help you develop some of the community interaction you crave. They are flexible and adaptable. It is entirely up to you as to how much or how little you’ll participate!
