Message From the Elders

Year-End Giving
After much prayer and discussion, the elders are designating Sunday, December 13, as our Year-End Giving Sunday. Though this is a difficult year for all of us in so many ways, this church is blessed by your financial support, allowing us to continue the many good works that are done here. We are so grateful for this and are planning, in faith, to continue these works along with additional plans in 2021. Mark your calendars and pray for December 13 and our Year-End Giving.

Staff Update
Mackenzie Lewis, one of our Student Ministers, informed us that she is leaving her role here effective mid-December. Though we are sad about this decision for us, we are happy for Mackenzie. In her words, she is taking advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to move to England, live with family, and work there for the foreseeable future. This is an exciting opportunity, and we know that Mackenzie is a blessing to all that she touches just as she was to us for the past two years. Mackenzie blessed our staff and our Student Ministry through her wonderful life example, her energy and excitement for ministry, and her working closely with our female students. In short, Mackenzie, we love you and you will be missed.

The elders and ministers are working toward what the future looks like for this role in our Student Ministry and will share more details with you as we go forward. For now, we just wanted to thank Mackenzie publicly and pray over her as she enters this new phase of her life.
