Newborns–Grade 6

Kids' Ministry Journey

Reveal (Birth to 2) – Introducing God’s Story. Our focus is to make the LORD known in age-appropriate ways. Building a foundation of a loving, trustworthy God that will build as they grow.

Discover (3s – Kindergarten) – Getting to Know God’s Story. Our focus to learn the stories of God and how he is constantly wanting a relationship with us.

Dwell (1st–4th Grade) – Learning to live in God’s story. Our focus is to learn what it is like to dwell in the House of the LORD. Each year they will focus on a truth about God that we learn when we dwell with Him. They discover that the LORD restores, guides, embraces, and provides.

Equip (5th–6th grade) – Finding ourselves in God’s Story. Our focus is to involve kids so that they see themselves as vital part of the Kingdom of God. Kids will learn about gifting, and will have space to ask questions to deepen their growing faith. Events, teaching style, and community building will be essential to help equip them for student ministry.

Nursery
For kids under the age of 2

Nursing rooms
Located in the Back Lobby

Kids’ Church
Kids ages 2-Kindergarten will be dismissed during worship to come to the back lobby for an age-appropriate worship time. Kids will sing songs, play games, and learn the same or similar lesson as the sermon so you can continue a conversation at home.

Sermon Notes
In the back and front lobby, there will be sermon notes for kids to help assist them while they sit in worship.

Nursery Hallway

  • Birth to 18 months – Kids will sing songs and learn that God takes care of us.
  • 18 months to 2s – God is revealed through singing songs, and hearing a story.

 

Preschool Hallway

  • Pink Room (3-and-4-year-olds) and Blue Room (Pre-K and Kindergarten) – Kids learn about how God wants us and the people around us.

 

Elementary Hallway

Kids in 1st through 4th grades rotate through four different classes to gain a better understanding of the stories and what dwelling with the Lord looks like.

  • Theater – Kids interact with the story by acting
  • Thinkery – Kids interact with the story by doing art projects and experiments
  • Diner – Kids interact with the story from a service perspective
  • Cinema – Kids interact with the story by watching the story played out

 

5th/6th Classroom

  • Class for preteens where they learn about how to deal with the questions that they have and learn how to use the gifts they have.

Nursery
Kids under 2-years-old sing songs, color, and play in the middle room.

Preschool
2-year-olds through Kindergarten have a lesson in the Kids’ Church Room.

Elementary
Kids 1st through 4th grade learn the stories of the Bible in fun and age-appropriate ways.

Grades 5–6
Kids have discussion to talk through the story of the Bible in gender specific groups.
